Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical management to patients with complex health issues and will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced clinical management to patients with complex health issues
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and develop treatment plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of Neonatal or Pediatric Intensive Care experience
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration with College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
  • Proficient with computers, software programs, and applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to care through a family centered nursing approach
  • Advanced clinical knowledge in subspecialty
  • Commitment to maintaining current knowledge in area of expertise
Working Conditions
  • Moderate to heavy physical effort required
  • May be required to work flexible hours
  • Occasional travel to community agencies, patient homes and/or other healthcare institutions
