We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care to patients with complex health issues, including HIV and other infectious diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with HIV and other infectious diseases, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct health education and counseling sessions with patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and disease management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and healthcare services.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HIV and infectious disease care.
- Advanced practice nursing certification (e.g. CCRN, CENP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including Indigenous and marginalized communities.
- Knowledge of community-based care models and healthcare systems.
- Fluency in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge of Indigenous customs and traditions.
