Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HR Business Systems Analyst to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Global Functions Technology division, you will play a critical role in assessing, researching, analyzing, and documenting SAP HR business and systems needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consulting services to business partners on new initiatives, from small to large and varying in complexity.
  • Lead detailed requirement phases, identifying, tracking, escalating, and/or resolving business systems issues.
  • Assess, research, analyze, and document sponsor/stakeholder needs in accordance with Enterprise Project Management Framework and Agile or Iterative Waterfall deliverables.
  • Recommend business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs, continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients.
  • Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of Requirements and Acceptance phases of projects.
  • Facilitate small to large meetings, support testing, including leading of systems & acceptance testing by facilitating participation of appropriate staff to project completion.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working in a SAP HR Functional Analyst capacity, researching SAP HR related issues, developing process maps, completing configuration, creating technical development specs, performing application testing, gathering business requirements, and handling change management activities in support of SAP HR processes.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP HR, including modules PA, PD, Benefits, Retirement & Savings, Security, Compensation, Payroll, Employee and Manager Self-Serve Tools.
  • Ability to lead meetings with and collect Business Requirements from various stakeholders from multiple areas – HR Business, HR Service Center, Technology.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience in coordinating with third-party vendors.
  • Fast learner with strong soft skills for relationship management with various stakeholders.
