Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

S3 Group Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Fort Qu'Appelle, SK. This is a full-time position that requires extensive travel.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a territory of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the Northern US regions. They will possess an in-depth knowledge of products, applications, industry terminology, customers, and competition. The Territory Sales Manager will develop plans to manage opportunity pipelines, key accounts management, implement pricing and commercial terms, complete the necessary reporting requirements for the position, and identify growth opportunities within the region that aligns with S3 Group Ltd.'s capabilities and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow the business
  • Manage a territory of existing and new customers, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and other stakeholders
  • Travel extensively to meet with customers, dealers, and other stakeholders
  • Document call reports and expense reports, and submit to the Manager
  • Work proficiently within S3's MRP system to generate sales orders, quotes, and search for inventory and product lead times
  • Develop customer delivery schedules and work with production personnel to sort out any schedule, prioritizing, and/or quality issues
  • Receive calls pertaining to parts, service, warranty, and customer inquiries and/or complaints
  • Enter and follow-up on customer non-conformances
  • Enter return material authorizations and credit memos in the MRP system
  • Manage forecasts, quoting, order process, and product returns
  • Generate costing reports for sales margins
  • Attend trade shows and industry conferences as requested
  • Actively participate in production meetings
  • Identify new sales and product development opportunities in the marketplace and present to the Manager
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years office experience
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience
  • Experience managing a wide variety of priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive and co-operative team player
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Must be accurate and detail-oriented
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Agricultural background is preferred
  • Maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Must be able to travel extensively for work
