Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing a team of accountants and overseeing the financial reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Lead and manage the financial reporting processes to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconciliation and Review: Review reconciliations for various companies across the portfolio and month-end results.
- Tax Management: Oversee taxes, including reviewing simple corporate tax returns and all monthly sales tax returns.
- Financial Institution Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with financial institutions.
- Process Improvement: Improve processes and procedures to enhance accuracy and meet deadlines.
- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare reporting packages for lenders, investors, and other stakeholders, and present financial conditions, cash flow, and monthly financial position to the Executive Team.
- Team Management: Lead Month End Meetings with the Senior Leadership, mentor, coach, and performance manage the team, and cover team members for vacations and time off.
- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate the year-end audit and prepare audited financial statements, and coordinate all other customer and government audits.
- Process Automation: Recommend and implement new processes, policies, and automation to enhance accuracy and meet deadlines.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent.
- CPA Designation: CPA designation required.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a senior-level finance role, and 3-5+ years of managing an accounting team.
- Skills: Strong technical accounting proficiency, strong people management skills, motivating and coaching team members, highly organized, with demonstrated problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and proven ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple and complex projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Competitive Salary: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year.
- Bonus Pay: Bonus pay.
- Benefits: Company events, dental care, extended health care, paid time off, and vision care.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday.
