About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sprinkler Fitters Foreman/Woman to join our team at Gisborne Holdings Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of our sprinkler systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of sprinkler fitters and other tradespeople
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with safety regulations
  • Manage and maintain records of work completed, including reports and certifications
  • Collaborate with management and other teams to ensure smooth operations and meet business objectives
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our systems remain compliant and effective
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sprinkler system installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Proven track record of supervising and coordinating teams
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
