Key Responsibilities:

  • Address ongoing client needs, provide insurance advice, conduct assessments, recommend solutions, respond to inquiries, and manage renewals
  • Generate new business by selling policies to both existing and new clients
  • Initiate outbound calls for quotes and engage with walk-in clients
  • Collaborate with Underwriters and Adjusters regarding policy guidelines
  • Prepare documentation for insurers, complete client applications, issue certificates, and process changes
  • Stay updated on underwriting rules and processes
  • Actively engage in training programs
  • Participate in community marketing efforts
  • Manage accounts receivable tasks
  • Provide support and guidance as needed

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or Post-Secondary education
  • Previous experience in insurance is preferred but not mandatory
  • RIBO License is an asset
  • Familiarity with Epic software is beneficial
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to pass background and credit checks
