Role and Responsibilities

Financial Analyst - Corporate Finance and Planning

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to inform business decisions.

The Role We Offer You:

  • Participate in financial forecasting and analysis processes for CAE Consolidated
  • Contribute to the development of the company's strategic plan
  • Assist in the establishment of the annual budget
  • Maintain and develop financial models and identify, document, and communicate risks and business opportunities related to forecasts
  • Prepare various financial reports and presentations for senior management

With a focus on process improvement and automation, you will have the opportunity to propose and implement improvements to the various planning and financial forecasting processes.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • University degree in accounting or finance
  • Professional title completed or in the process of being completed (CPA, CFA)
  • Minimum of five years of related experience
  • IT skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Personality focused on detail, good sense of analysis
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
