Actuarial Vice President, P&C Reinsurance

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Vice President to join our Reinsurance Actuarial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing the costs and benefits of risk transferred under reinsurance agreements via pricing analysis and dynamic risk modeling for large accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze reinsurance contracts and products, including terminology, terms, and conditions.
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues across service teams to identify and respond to client needs.
  • Provide mentorship to junior colleagues on experience and exposure methods, as well as communication of their results.
  • Design and present client presentations to communicate analysis results to brokers and clients.
  • Communicate effectively with both actuaries and non-actuaries via written and verbal mediums.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in a Property and Casualty actuarial role, with Reinsurance and/or consulting experience preferred.
  • FCAS and FCIA credential preferred.
  • Dynamic Financial Analysis or Economic Capital Modeling experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and a programming language, e.g. R/Python/SQL.
  • Strong ability to understand and perform mathematical and statistical calculations.
