The Program Secretary will provide administrative support to the Women's and Children's Health portfolio at Hamilton Health Sciences. This role will work closely with a dynamic leadership and administrative team in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to engage in a wide variety of exciting projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Complex Care Outpatient Program, Children's Palliative Services, and the Child and Family Patient Engagement portfolio.
- Collaborate with the leadership and administrative team to develop and implement administrative systems and processes.
- Develop and maintain databases and generate reports from these databases.
- Provide transcription and minute-taking services.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare policies and procedures.
- Graduate of a Community College Business Secretarial Program or equivalent.
- Proficient keyboarding skills (60 wpm).
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet project and task deadlines.
