Welcome Drywall & Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Drywall and Acoustical Board Installer Helper. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of drywall and acoustical boards in various locations.
Key Responsibilities- Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials
- Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades
- Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials Such as Concrete and Asphalt
- Measure, Cut, Fit, and Install Drywall Sheets
- Cut Materials Using Power Tools or by Hand
- Clean and Maintain Work Space
- Tape Over Joints Using Taping Machine and Embed Tape in Compound
You will be working in a fast-paced construction environment, which may involve working at heights, underground, and in confined spaces. You will be exposed to noisy and dusty conditions.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: You must be able to work under pressure, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Personal Suitability: You must be flexible, reliable, and a team player.
A criminal record check is required for this position.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesThis is a physically demanding role that requires you to work in a variety of environments. You must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
Language and Work TermThe primary language of work is English, and this is a permanent position.
