About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute Sales Finance Manager to join Apple Canada's Sales Finance team. In this pivotal role, you will lead a small team of analysts and serve as a key partner to various departments including Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations. Your ability to build strong cross-functional relationships will be essential in driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the revenue forecasting process for Apple Canada, ensuring alignment with business planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct insightful review meetings with leadership to influence business outcomes effectively.
  • Manage the quarterly and annual planning processes for revenue, sales, and marketing budgets.
  • Enhance systems and tools to improve the quality of insights and streamline reporting workflows.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Finance analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a fast-paced environment within a Sales Finance role or similar, with expertise in financial modeling, market analytics, and consolidated reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with SQL/Tableau.
  • A business or quantitative-based undergraduate degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in motivating and developing analysts in a high-performance setting.
  • A passion for process innovation and optimization, with a strong understanding of financial controls.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
  • A high level of intellectual curiosity and the ability to analyze data for deeper insights.
  • Extensive experience in developing and presenting reports and business proposals to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • An MBA or relevant advanced business degree.
