About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Financial Services Specialist to join our team at CIBC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and growing your client portfolio by providing exceptional customer service, financial planning, and business development expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Retention
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan to acquire new clients and retain existing ones.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively promote them to clients.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Provide expert financial planning and analysis to clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
    • Develop and implement financial plans that align with our clients' needs and objectives.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of financial plans and business strategies.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications
    • Hold a professional designation in finance (e.g. CFP, CFA, etc.).
    • Have a strong understanding of financial products and services.
  • Business Acumen
    • Have a proven track record of business development and client acquisition.
    • Be able to analyze financial data and develop business plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Be able to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility
    • Be able to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities.
    • Be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
