About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Financial Services Specialist to join our team at CIBC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and growing your client base by providing exceptional customer service, financial planning, and investment advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Retention
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to acquire new clients and retain existing ones.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Financial Planning and Advice
    • Provide expert financial planning and investment advice to clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
    • Develop and implement financial plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and colleagues.
  • Community Involvement
    • Participate in community events and activities to promote CIBC's brand and values.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders and organizations.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications
    • Hold a professional designation in finance, such as CFP or CFA.
    • Have a strong understanding of financial products and services.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a financial services role.
    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Be a team player with a strong work ethic.
    • Have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
