Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Burlington. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and stock linen closets.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Work Environment: Work independently in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), bend, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, and patience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
