Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Burlington. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a dust-free environment.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a comfortable and clean sleeping environment.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests as needed.
  • Stock linen closet to ensure a sufficient supply of linens.
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure that guests' belongings are returned to them.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide excellent customer service.
  • Provide basic information on facilities to guests to ensure they have a smooth and enjoyable stay.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding work with bending, crouching, kneeling and standing for extended periods.
  • Overtime required to meet guest needs.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Initiative and ability to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
