About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Aalia Sachedina Parhar. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy space.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
  • Supply Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our guests.
  • Linen Closet Management: Stock linen closet to ensure a sufficient supply of linens.
  • Fixture and Appliance Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Trash and Debris Removal: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Laundry and Linen Services: Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and tidy space.
  • Shopping and Supply Procurement: Shop for food and household supplies to maintain a sufficient stock.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy space.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
