About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Kelly-Boy Maintenance Inc. as a Janitorial Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and tidy environment.
  • Heavy Lifting and Moving: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Supervision and Safety: Work with minimal supervision and perform regular safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Winter Maintenance: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Transportation: A valid driver's license is required.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, flexibility, organization, and reliability are essential qualities for this role.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with 30-40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
