We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Pilot to join our team at Helicopter Transport Services (Canada) Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our helicopter operations and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers and cargo.
Key Responsibilities- Flight Operations
- Plan and execute helicopter flights, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure that all aircraft systems are functioning properly.
- Monitor and control flight operations, making decisions in real-time to ensure safe and efficient flight.
- Leadership and Supervision
- Lead and manage a team of pilots and ground crew, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of flight operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of helicopter flights.
- Training and Development
- Provide training and development opportunities to pilots and ground crew, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to pilots and ground crew.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including those related to aviation safety and security.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education and Experience
- Commercial Pilot Licence - rotors
- Airline Pilot Transport Licence - rotors
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a helicopter pilot, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Skills and Qualifications
