Position Overview

As a Residential Health Aide at Healing Hearts Care In Home Services Inc., you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support to individuals in need of assistance. Your dedication to enhancing the quality of life for our clients is essential.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Work Environment

You will primarily work in a nursing home or home for the aged, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients during outdoor recreational activities.
  • Support the cleaning, sterilization, setup, and assembly of medical equipment.
  • Provide various duties related to patient care and comfort.
  • Help with personal care tasks.
  • Manage bedpans and assist with toileting needs.
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Serve meals and assist clients with feeding.
  • Assist in lifting, turning, and positioning clients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in clients' rooms.
  • Supervise and encourage clients' exercise routines.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming of clients.
  • Transport clients using wheelchairs or stretchers.
