Job Description

We're seeking a Senior Data Engineer with Python expertise to join our team. As a key member of our Platform Engineering Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing reusable experimental and production data pipelines. Your primary focus will be on creating a centralized data store and ensuring the data is whole, safe, and flowing with expertise on high-volume data ingest and streaming platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines for real-time and batch processing
  • Develop efficient structures and schema for data in storage and transit
  • Work with software engineers to build event-driven microservices
  • Optimize feature pipelines for fast execution
  • Explore new technology options for data processing, storage, and share with the team
Requirements
  • Proficient in Spark/Scala/Python/Java
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra
  • Ability to connect different services and processes together
  • Strong understanding of data processing and storage technologies
