**Project Engineer - Building Science Specialist**
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer - Building Science Specialist to join our team at RDH Building Science Inc. As a key member of our building science consulting team, you will be responsible for delivering building enclosure projects, including investigations, design, construction document preparation, and field review.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Participate in and lead project meetings with owners, developers, architects, and other consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
- Attend regular site meetings with owners, architects, contractors, developers, product manufacturers, and other relevant parties to discuss project progress.
- Review and comment on Requests for Information, Site Instructions, and Proposed Change Orders associated with building enclosure elements.
- Research building materials and make recommendations to senior staff for contractor alternate submittals.
- Manage building enclosure consulting projects, including responsibility for financial performance, technical quality, staff resourcing, scheduling, and client satisfaction.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or Architecture required; Master's degree in a related field an asset.
- 7+ years of experience in building science consulting.
- 2+ years of project management experience.
- Significant field experience addressing site conditions and working with construction processes.
- Intermediate technical knowledge of building enclosure design and construction principles, including local building codes.
**What We Offer:**
- Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annualized for a full-time role.
