About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer - Building Science to join our team at RDH Building Science Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering building enclosure projects, including investigations, design, construction document preparation, and field review.

This role requires technical knowledge in building science, building envelope design, and building enclosure construction principles. You will work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent building enclosure performance on various building types, including existing buildings and new constructions.

As a Project Engineer - Building Science, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in project meetings with clients, architects, and contractors to discuss project progress and address any issues
  • Reviewing and commenting on Requests for Information, Site Instructions, and Proposed Change Orders associated with building enclosure elements
  • Researching building materials and making recommendations to senior staff for contractor alternate submittals
  • Preparing site visit reports documenting observations and field-testing results, and providing recommendations for all deficiency items
  • Managing building enclosure consulting projects, including responsibility for financial performance, technical quality, staff resourcing, scheduling, and client satisfaction

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 annualized for a full-time role, dependent on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for discretionary incentives and share ownership.
