Stock Keeper

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Keeper to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships. As a Stock Keeper, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and shipping parts to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of our Parts Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unpack orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Stock and organize parts, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Ensure all parts are correctly picked and checked prior to delivery.
- Report any losses or damage to the Parts Manager.
- Return replaced parts and core parts to the manufacturer or supplier.
- Submit damage and discrepancy claims to the manufacturer or supplier.
- Assist in inventory bin checks and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with couriers and suppliers.
- Attend training courses as required to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Automotive industry or retail experience.
- Computer and stock control system knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Professional appearance and friendly disposition.
Working Conditions:
- Using computers to look up and enter data.
- Using physical and manual dexterity.
- Bending, stretching, lifting, climbing, and reaching.
- Standing six to eight hours during a shift.
- Exposed to noise, vibrations, dust, exhaust fumes, and hazardous materials.
