Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Keeper to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of parts to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process incoming parts shipments, verifying quantities and accuracy.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe storage environment, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
  • Accurately pick and pack parts for delivery to customers, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Collaborate with the Parts Manager and other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or losses.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and couriers, ensuring seamless logistics and communication.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive work environment, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with stock control systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts, as required.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

  • Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent deadlines and priorities.
  • Exposure to noise, vibrations, dust, and other hazardous materials.
  • Regularly standing, bending, and lifting, with occasional heavy lifting and moving of equipment and parts.
