In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of components from our suppliers, directly impacting our production processes. Your expertise in supplier management and delivery assurance will be crucial in maintaining high quality standards and meeting production deadlines.
- Your Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage supplier delivery schedules to align with GPSI's production needs.
- Collaborate closely with our Quality Control team to ensure delivered components meet established specifications and industry standards.
- Proactively identify and resolve any potential delivery issues to prevent disruptions in our production workflow.
- Optimize production processes by supervising supplier activities and ensuring adherence to schedules and quality guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for all delivery-related matters.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within our supplier network and production processes, focusing on enhancing delivery reliability and overall efficiency.
- Generate comprehensive reports on supplier performance, including delivery metrics, issues encountered, and implemented solutions.
What We Look For:
- Proven experience in supplier delivery assurance with a demonstrated track record of ensuring timely and reliable deliveries.
- Experience in production management within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of supplier management principles, particularly in the areas of delivery assurance and production coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and report generation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively build relationships with suppliers and clearly convey expectations regarding deliveries and production requirements.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to quickly and efficiently address any delivery or production challenges that may arise.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies to enhance delivery reliability and optimize production processes.
