Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Console Operator to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Console Operator, you will be responsible for dispatching alarm and occurrence responses, coordinating scheduling changes, and documenting all information into comprehensive reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatching alarm and occurrence responses in a timely and efficient manner
  • Coordinating scheduling changes, book-offs, and other operational tasks
  • Documenting all information into comprehensive reports to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Escalating situations to stakeholders as required to ensure effective communication and resolution
  • Ensuring necessary procedures are followed in the event of emergencies such as bomb threats, fires, and break and enters
  • Liaising with local emergency services and client personnel to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Providing briefings to management, supervisors, and staff as required to ensure effective communication and awareness
  • Patrolling and performing other duties as assigned to ensure the safety and security of our clients and their properties
Requirements
  • Experience in a control room environment with CCTV and access card systems
  • Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
  • Valid (WSIB Approved) First Aid Certificate Level C
  • Functional ability with the Windows operating system and Windows Office software such as Excel and Word
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with Tracktik is considered an asset
  • Superior customer service and professionalism
  • Above average English communication skills, both verbal and written; French is considered a strong asset
  • Ability to function independently and multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment
