Job Title: Financial Analyst - Corporate Banking

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst - Corporate Banking role is a key position within the Securities Department at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. As a member of the team responsible for the allocation, settlement, and reconciliation of equity and bond transactions, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of cash positions and stock records between custodian/clearing agents/banks and our internal systems
  • Reconciliation of all suspense and control accounts
  • Collaboration with colleagues and partners in the United States
  • Supporting the team in meeting regulatory and compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Canadian Regulatory/Compliance experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, or related field), or equivalent
  • Comprehensive knowledge of processing domestic and international settlements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of French is an asset
