About Travel Nunavut

Founded in 1996, Travel Nunavut is dedicated to enhancing the tourism industry within Nunavut. As the foremost entity in the travel sector of Canada's distinct region, our goal is to expand the industry into a $1 billion enterprise with 5,000 employment opportunities by 2030. With a network of over 155 members and various stakeholders, we are committed to supporting and advocating for the tourism sector in Nunavut.

Role Overview

In the capacity of Chief Executive Officer at Travel Nunavut, you will oversee the daily operations, programs, and services of the organization. Your strategic leadership will be vital in executing initiatives that align with our goals and promote the growth and sustainability of the tourism sector in Nunavut.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the implementation of Travel Nunavut's programs and services
  • Work collaboratively with staff and partners to enhance member development
  • Assess and analyze program outcomes
  • Report to the President and participate in board meetings
Qualifications
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
  • Proven capacity to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Inuktitut is advantageous
  • Degree in business administration, tourism management, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership and partnership
Compensation Package
