President and Chief Executive Officer

The Royal Ontario Museum Foundation seeks a seasoned leader to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer. This key role will be responsible for leading the Foundation's fundraising efforts, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and driving the success of the Museum's philanthropic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Foundation's fundraising strategy
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and volunteers
  • Collaborate with the ROM Director & CEO and senior executive team to ensure the success of all philanthropic and sponsorship activities
  • Represent the Foundation to various stakeholder communities and cultivate leadership donors, sponsors, and volunteers
  • Manage high-performing teams in a mission-based culture
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated track record of results in fundraising, leadership, and team management
  • Ability to convert vision to action and cultivate government, corporate, community, and philanthropic donor relationships
  • Experience pacing large and ambitious capital campaigns
  • Collaborative leadership style with a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusivity
