Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of Blondie Cleaners (2013) Ltd..

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Field of study: Accounting and related services, or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries accurately
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed
  • Prepare tax returns in compliance with regulations
  • Compile trial balances of books
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
  • Perform various administrative tasks
  • Manage accounts payable efficiently
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee the work of accounting and related clerks.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word
  • Experience with QuickBooks and SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD)
  • Familiarity with Simply Accounting and MS Office Suite
Experience Level

Ideal candidates will have between 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
