We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Blondie Cleaners (2013) Ltd. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting and Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports to management, including statistical and financial reports.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage benefits administration, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and credit card statements.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and other duties as required.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, and Quick Books.
- Language: English.
