Your Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering insights for advanced geotechnical assessments both in fieldwork and laboratory settings.
- Evaluating and refining the design of mining infrastructures.
- Developing geotechnical design recommendations tailored for mining operations.
- Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in civil engineering complemented by a postgraduate qualification in geotechnical engineering.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, specifically in mining waste management.
- Active registration with the Quebec Order of Engineers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of essential geotechnical principles related to mining waste management.
- Proficiency in geotechnical modeling software, including PLAXIS and FLAC2D/3D.
