- Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Care and Customer Service Coordinator to implement clinical programs and initiatives that enhance resident well-being.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategies for continuous quality improvement in care services.
- Disseminate critical information from clinical and administrative reports, promoting a culture of safety and transparency within nursing teams.
- Serve as a clinical and administrative resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure personalized, consistent, and high-quality resident care.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of nursing sectors and customer service, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Participate in the development and implementation of evaluation processes, ongoing training programs, and recognition initiatives for nursing staff.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on staffing strategies, including recruitment, retention, and professional development for nursing personnel.
- Effectively manage material and informational resources within your designated areas of responsibility.
Your Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with a valid license in good standing with the O.I.I.Q.
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant clinical experience in long-term care, including one (1) year in a supervisory role.
- Proven leadership style characterized by interdisciplinary teamwork, respect, open communication, and recognition of staff contributions.
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with colleagues across departments to enhance service quality in long-term care settings.
- Functional English language skills are an asset.
