**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at Meridian. As a key member of our Wealth practice, you will play a critical role in helping our Members achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that meet the unique needs and goals of our Members.
  • Investment Advice: Provide expert investment advice and guidance to help our Members make informed decisions about their financial portfolios.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage and maintain our Members' investment portfolios, ensuring that their assets are aligned with their financial goals and risk tolerance.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with our Members, providing exceptional service and support to help them achieve their financial objectives.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, products, and services, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance to our Members.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, with a proven track record of success in financial planning and investment advice.
  • Licensing: MFDA licensing required, with the potential of attaining IIROC licensing.
  • Designations: Active pursuit or achievement of PFP, CFP, CIM, TEP, or relevant designations.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
