Occupational Therapist

Side by Side ABA Therapy is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments in a home setting to identify areas of need and develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
- Client-Centered Care: Engage with clients, families, and caregivers to address client-centered goals and provide coaching to support skill development.
- Progress Monitoring: Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and client progress toward goal attainment, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other professionals, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), to ensure comprehensive support for clients and their families.
- Pediatrics Experience: Proven experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
- Registration and Licensure: Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and proof of professional liability insurance.
- Education and Training: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and relevant training in autism and developmental disabilities.
