Job Summary

University Health Network is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in empowering clients to reach their full functional and work reintegration potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat clients with work-related injuries and chronic conditions
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans to promote client independence and return to work
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Conduct workplace assessments and provide recommendations for injury prevention and management
  • Provide education and training to clients, employers, and healthcare professionals on workplace wellness and injury prevention

Requirements

  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Minimum of two years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a work-related injury setting
  • Strong knowledge of workplace wellness and injury prevention principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
