We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Labourer to join our Warehouse Operations team at Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of products and materials within our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shunting trailers in the distribution center yard to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
- Managing inventory levels and maintaining accurate records to ensure seamless operations.
- Scheduling and coordinating 3rd party deliveries to meet customer demands.
- Participating in Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) activities to maintain a safe working environment.
- Authorizing site maintenance services and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Preparing orders for loading onto delivery trucks, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operating industrial powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, to move products and materials.
- Meeting daily productivity requirements and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Staging completed pallets in designated shipping areas to ensure efficient loading and unloading.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in shunting trailers and a Class 1 driver's license is an asset.
- Strong record keeping and administrative skills to maintain accurate inventory levels and records.
- Experience on JHSC is an asset, with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in warehouse, production, or equipment service is essential.
- Ability to operate manual or powered pallet jacks and lift products safely.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
