Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Order Entry Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a Pharmacy Order Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in the pharmaceutical industry, utilizing your Pharmacy Assistant expertise to specialize in the inputting of prescriptions into the pharmacy's computer system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter prescriptions, refills, and prescription changes into patient records
  • Build relationships and serve as a critical point of contact for clients and patient caregivers
  • Accurately process prescriptions and resolve billing issues
  • Create new patient profiles and maintain existing patient records
  • Prepare prescription label printouts
  • Collaborate with nursing home teams to ensure continuity of patient care
  • Navigate supply chain issues to ensure timely prescription orders

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university with a focus in science and/or healthcare
  • Pharmacy-related diploma or certificate
  • Pharmacy experience in Long Term Care
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a passion for providing high-quality client services and building relationships
