Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Order Entry Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a Pharmacy Order Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions and patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter prescriptions, refills, and prescription changes into patient records
  • Build relationships with clients and patient caregivers
  • Process billing for prescriptions and resolve billing issues
  • Create new patient profiles and maintain existing patient records
  • Prepare prescription label printouts
  • Collaborate with nursing home teams to ensure continuity of patient care
  • Navigate supply chain issues for medications

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in a science or healthcare-related field
  • Pharmacy-related diploma or certificate
  • Pharmacy experience in Long Term Care
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • Self-motivated with a passion for providing high-quality client services
