Cape Breton University is seeking a highly skilled Data Analysis/Logistics Coordinator to join its team. This is a full-time continuing position in the Office of the Registrar.

The Office of the Registrar is responsible for maintaining the academic records of the institution, creating and protecting student files. The Registrar's Office serves students, faculty, and the university community by responding to inquiries, administering academic regulations, coordinating updates to the academic calendar and course catalog, and supporting convocation ceremonies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing the academic timetable and exam schedules;
  • Coordinating CBU registration processes (students and faculty);
  • Producing a range of academic and other reports;
  • Preparing the annual Dean's List;
  • Responding to specific queries for information/data;
  • Participating in the development of new systems related to these functions, including assisting with the implementation of new software programs.

The successful candidate will also be required to communicate effectively within and outside of the Registrar's Office, including with Deans, Chairs, faculty, and students.

This position is unionized with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 3131. The salary level is Market Driven Tier 2.
