Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality programs and services to youth, while building strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program plans and activities that meet the needs of youth
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, and other stakeholders
  • Recruit and engage participants in program activities
  • Deliver program sessions and activities in-person and online
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Social Sciences, Human Services, Education, Social Work, or Humanities
  • Experience working with youth and community organizations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
  • Evidence of a clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
