Job Title: Program Coordinator

At YMCA Calgary, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our outdoor programs, working closely with staff and volunteers to deliver exceptional experiences for our campers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement program plans, ensuring alignment with YMCA Calgary's mission and values.
  • Supervise and support staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality program delivery.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless program execution, including logistics, safety, and risk management.
  • Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry trends.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in program coordination or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification.
