Job Title: Senior/Intermediate Municipal Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Intermediate Municipal Civil Engineer to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of municipal roads and linear infrastructure projects, including water, sanitary, and storm systems, drainage, and grading.
  • Prepare and review technical solutions for engineering designs, including calculations, design criteria, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including 3rd party utilities and external agencies, to ensure project deliverables meet regulatory requirements.
  • Provide construction oversight, including engineering field reviews and field review reports, and respond to contractor RFIs.
  • Support project managers with budgeting, scheduling, and invoicing, and collaborate with peers and subconsultants to create a productive team environment.
Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good standing with 10+ years of design experience working in Lower Mainland municipal projects.
  • Extensive technical expertise in civil engineering principles and municipal infrastructure design, including municipal roads, water, sanitary, and storm systems, drainage, and grading.
  • Expert working knowledge of contract documentation, including MMCD and CCDC.
  • Excellent knowledge of industry practices and regulations, with the ability to interpret, apply, and advise others on engineering guidelines.
  • Proficient in working with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to exercise diplomacy and tact.
  • Results-driven, with a commitment to continuous learning and skills improvement.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $74,800 - $139,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, and employer-paid provincial care premiums.
