Job Title: Senior/Intermediate Municipal Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Intermediate Municipal Civil Engineer to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water, sanitary, and storm systems, drainage, and grading.
  • Prepare and review technical solutions, engineering designs, and project deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, sub-consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide construction oversight, including engineering field reviews and field review reports, and respond to contractor RFIs.
  • Interpret and ensure conformance to applicable legislation, standards, and codes, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good standing with 10+ years of design experience working in Lower Mainland municipal projects.
  • Extensive technical expertise and demonstrated working knowledge and experience with civil engineering principles and civil design of municipal servicing infrastructure.
  • Expert working knowledge of contract documentation, including MMCD and CCDC.
  • Excellent knowledge of industry practices and regulations, with the ability to interpret, apply, and advise others on engineering guidelines.
  • Proficient in working with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise diplomacy and tact.
  • Results-driven, with a commitment to continuous learning and skills improvement.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $74,800 - $139,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, employer-paid provincial care premiums, a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), life insurance, paid time off, sick leave, and all province-observed holidays off.
