About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Café Lunette. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team and ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise
  • Collaborate with the Chef to create a positive and productive kitchen environment
  • Monitor inventory and manage supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
  • Train and develop junior cooks to ensure a strong team dynamic
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
  • Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a similar environment
  • Passion for food and culinary excellence
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • High level of integrity, discipline, and vision
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
