Position Overview

As a Healthcare Support Specialist at Jardins Vie-Dali INC., you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Your responsibilities will include providing compassionate care and assistance to individuals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Work Environment

You will be working primarily in a nursing home or assisted living facility, where your contributions will significantly impact the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents in participating in outdoor recreational activities.
  • Provide personal care and support as needed.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Facilitate communication by delivering messages and reports between departments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of residents' rooms.
  • Manage inventory and ensure availability of necessary supplies.
  • Support residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Safely transport residents using wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Respond to call signals to address residents' needs promptly.
  • Collect specimens as required for medical assessments.
  • Provide first aid assistance in emergency situations.
Certifications Required
  • Completion of Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Health Care Aide Certification.
