Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Chartwell L'Envol. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Serve meal trays and feed patients, bathe, dress, and groom patients, and answer call signals to determine patients' needs.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that all necessary equipment is available and in good working order.
- First Aid and Emergency Response: Administer first aid in emergency situations and respond to medical emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, or equivalent experience.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity required.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional patient care and support, with a focus on meeting the unique needs of each patient.
- Dependability: Demonstrate a high level of dependability and reliability in performing duties and responsibilities.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
