Job Title: Motor Vehicle Repair Shop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Repair Shop Supervisor to join our team at New Millenium Tire Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise workers and projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation.
  • Recruit and hire workers, conducting interviews and assessments to ensure the best fit for our team.
  • Train or arrange for training, developing the skills and knowledge of our team members to enhance their performance.
  • Estimate costs and materials, ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, managing inventory and logistics to support our operations.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units, promoting collaboration and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Permanent employment, working 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
