Job Title: Automotive Body Shop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Body Shop Supervisor to join our team at MD Automotive Repairs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people, ensuring the efficient operation of the body shop, and maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of the work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the body shop team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and on time.
  • Prepare production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the skills of the team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and prepare bids for new projects.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work environment is safe and healthy for all employees.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure that the body shop operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in an automotive body shop.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of work.
